Resurrection

4-23-11

On Easter Sunday, Rick teaches about the power of resurrection, with several examples from scripture. He spoke about the first three people that Jesus raised from the dead, and parelleled the levels of resurrection power to the amount of persecution that eventually led to Jesus' crucifiction. The service ended with the congregation taking communion.

Three Cord Faith

9-15-12

Rick shares that the message today is a NOW word for this church. We should not fret because of evildoers. Instead, we should cultivate our faith based on Psalm 37. We have to be firmly established in the faith and continue in the faith. If we focus on the evil of others, it will cause us to do evil. If we wait for the Lord, we will inherit the land.

Avoiding Shipwreck

10-22-11

Rick Joyner: Avoiding Shipwreck
Focusing on the lessons in I Timothy 1:18-19 and Acts 27 helps us to understand how to avoid suffering shipwreck in our lives.
Four main factors caused the shipwreck that Paul was on:
1) Dissatisfaction in their circumstances.
2) Impatience-they were in a hurry to get to Rome.
3) They got a clear word from the Lord about what was coming but didn't heed it.
4) Being dependent on circumstances to give them direction, instead of being led by the Spirit.

Bishop E. W. Jackson:
Isaiah 6:8 is the focus of his message, Answering the Call.
